[Star Wars Saga] Gaming with my son 4 Replies

So I'm planning to use Star Wars Saga Edition to introduce my son to gaming. I will probably keep big statistical details either on my blog or on the Star Wars group (or both) and focus more on the e…

Got any funny, cool stories about kids at the gaming table? Have you used gaming to teach kids? Let's hear 'em! I once used AD&D 2e to teach a supposedly "learning-disabled" young man how to mul…

I tend to host the games, though currently none of my family play. My wife has tried a couple of times, in the Angel roleplaying game and in GURPS Black Ops...she's NOT a rules person, and Angel was a bit much for her...GURPS was overkill.

As anyone that has talked to me in the chat for more than a few minutes knows, I have been buying up the Star Wars Saga books for the express purpose of using it to get my son into role-playing. He's played a few of my bigger board games with me, usually in games where we can play cooperative, so I can handle most of the reading.

I'm a father of one very curious 4-year-old boy, and my group is centered around a family whose daughters occasionally play with us, so the topic of gaming and the family is very close to my heart. Looking forward to getting to know more about how it works in your families too.
