An interview with BASH creator, Chris Rutkowsky

episode 5 of The RPG Haven Podcast - an interview with Chris Rutkowsky

Basic Action Superheroes System is a tight, traditional system whose elegantly scalable rules fall nicely between the crunch of GURPS and Hero and the freeform of Capes and With Great Power. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I think as someone who likes quick prep and gameplay but also a bit of structure and mechanics to hang my gameplay on (I'm a big fan of Savage Worlds, for instance), BASH really hit my sweet spot.

I got a chance to interview Chris Rutkowsky, the creator of BASH on the October 2009 epsiode of The RPG Haven Podcast. We get into his influences, the gaming scene in his community and especially the mechanics of BASH.

You can go over to the RPG Haven Podcast site or listen to it here. I hope you find it interesting. I look forward to any general feedback.

Thanks!
