Figured I'd start a discussion rather than pollute the comments on the Group home page. So we're exercising the idea of starting a group in Decatur/Atlanta. Are you guys opposed to trying out Sava...

Well, I have been looking for a 2e game, but I am open to others. I have played many different games since I started playing. I know at least one other person that is also interested. Does anyone want to be the DM?

So there's three or four of us in the Atlanta area already? That's enough for a game group I'd say.

Unfortunately, Brian, I'm more interested in Savage Worlds, but I might be up for a 3e game. I've fiddled with Swords and Wizardry and White Box a bit, but that's about it as far as older editions go.

Good luck Brian! I'm in Columbus, or I'd invite you to meet my players ^^ Hope you find a group!

I am in the Atlanta area, and looking for a good game of D&D, preferably AD&D or 2e. Anyone have a game going in this area and need new players?

It's true. Anything in Orlando or south of it is not the South. Florida is the only state in which the further south you travel, the further north you are. I actually feel out of place sometimes living in GA.

Now North Central or North Florida... Well, that's a whole different thing altogether. You might as well be in GA.

Touche! :-)

That's ok. Most of the rest of us agree with you and I include the entire state of FL here only as a courtesy :P

I would like to state for the record that we in Miami (and South Florida in general) consider ourselves a whole 'nother area of the state and the US. Frankly, we're almost another country. ;-)

When I came back to the page, I thought I had just forgotten how to read! Many thanks!
